Guidelines for Gurus of Future Submission (Teachers of Tomorrow)
Eligibility
- Who Can Apply:
- Ophthalmology residents or fellows,
- Must be registered participants of the conference.
- The Participants must be enrolled as a Life Member of the TNOA on (or) before May 31st, 2026 and register for the conference before May 31st, 2026, for final approval for Participants in the conference
- Submission:
- A team of 2 Post graduates may be submitted along with a mentor from the institution.
- The Bonafide certificate from the Head of Department (HOD) is a mandatory requirement for submission.
Rules
- Topics will be provided to mentees 15 days before the presentation
- Mentees will present lectures on the given topics
- Mentors will guide the mentees
- Mentees will take the class on the day of the presentation (as teachers)
- A group of judges will decide the best teams
- Each presentation will be of 4 minutes duration
Prelims
- Both the Mentees will present
- Presentation Has To Be Brief
- Negative Scoring For Not Sticking To The Timeline
- All presentations Need To Be Uploaded Before The Prelims, and no presentation through a laptop
Scoring will be based on
- Content
- Ability to keep the audience engaged
- Innovative ways of teaching
- Time management
