Guidelines for Gurus of Future Submission

Eligibility

1. Who Can Apply:

• • Ophthalmology residents or fellows,
  • Must be registered participants of the conference.
  • The Participants must be enrolled as a Life Member of the TNOA on (or) before May 31st, 2026 and register for the conference before May 31st, 2026, for final approval for Participants in the conference

2. Submission:

• • A team of 2 Post graduates may be submitted along with a mentor from the institution.
  • The Bonafide certificate from the Head of Department (HOD) is a mandatory requirement for submission.

Rules

• • Topics will be provided to mentees 15 days before the presentation
  • Mentees will present lectures on the given topics
  • Mentors will guide the mentees
  • Mentees will take the class on the day of the presentation (as teachers)
  • A group of judges will decide the best teams
  • Each presentation will be of 4 minutes duration

Prelims

• • Both the Mentees will present
  • Presentation Has To Be Brief
  • Negative Scoring For Not Sticking To The Timeline
  • All presentations Need To Be Uploaded Before The Prelims, and no presentation through a laptop

Scoring will be based on

• • Content
  • Ability to keep the audience engaged
  • Innovative ways of teaching
  • Time management
